Jesus quoted Deuteronmy 8:3 saying, "But He answered and said,
"It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every
word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'" From these verses,
we see that hearing the preached Word (Rhema) is essential to
our faith in God.
